About Me

Once upon a time there was a young California girl. She was free spirited, down to earth, uninhibited, and lost in life. Seeking after something bigger than herself, she spontaneously went to Africa back in 2012 and found herself falling in love with a whole country! Confused, she challenged God and this terrifying calling she felt deep in her spirit. But the Lord was gentle and gracious, and her love for Him only fueled the burning passion she felt to help the needy, the poor, and the “least of these”. Soon realizing that her heart and soul couldnt stay away from this beautiful motherland, the young California girl decided to give up everything she knew, everything familiar to her, and move to the other side of the world. There, she will work, live, and impact lives in an orphanage nestled in the rural areas of Cameroon.

The writings you are about to read come from the very depths of this California girl’s heart. The experiences she describes are real, the people are alive, the feelings are tangible and the reality is heart breaking. As she sees, and feels, and dreams, she shares with you. These are the personal writings from a personal journey that will personally change your perspective, touch your heart, and shake the core of your very being.

Join me…you are most welcome.

When God is for you, no one can stand against you. I am completely inspired by this great journey you are about to embark on Stephanie. You are going to touch many lives of those less fortunate and help make this world a better place to live. God bless you.

    With Love,

    Hi Stephanie,

How refreshing it was to meet you yesterday at your work. Thank you for sharing a little about who you are, where you’re going and your new found passion. I’ll make sure I’ll ship out that stallion upon your arrival in Cameroon. I’m sure all the little kids in the village will enjoy the “daily horse rides” during their recess. You’ll have to purchase your own saddle though..ok? Lol :)

I will keep you in my prayers leading up to your departure and continue to pray for you during this experience in Africa 2013/2014.

    Best regards,

says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the Lord ’s hand double for all her sins. A voice of one calling: “In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord ; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
